Dr. Michael Lee
Specializes in reconstruction of the foot and ankle. He joined Central Iowa Orthopaedics in February of 2005. Prior to joining CIO, Dr. Lee was in private practice in one of central Iowa's largest multi-specialty groups for nearly six years. He is a native of Iowa, and attended the University of Northern Iowa for his undergraduate studies. He then went on to attend Des Moines University where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree. He completed a three year surgical residency training program at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Lee currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has published many manuscripts and is a frequent lecturer at local, national, and international meetings.
